Marrow of Theology

Why the "Marrow of Theology"?

The Marrow of Theology is not intended to replace a fuller, more traditional theological education for those who aspire to the ministry. However, in many cases a man's aspirations to the ministry may be initially tentative in his own mind or in the mind of his pastor(s). In this case, the Marrow may serve as a good "check-point," after which time the student's aspirations can be reassessed. The Marrow also serves to provide theological training for pastors and ministerial aspirants outside the United States who have neither the time nor the money to pursue an extended, formal theological education. Until Providence opens a door for them to receive a fuller education, they are in immediate need of basic theological training to ground them in the great doctrines of Scripture. Thus the Marrow provides an introduction to sacred theology and a platform on which to build further theological studies.
