Distance Learning & Live Instruction

Pursuing a theological education while holding a job and caring for a family can be challenging. In order to accommodate men who are seeking to manage various responsibilities, RBS offers its courses in a variety of formats.

Distance learning

Students may complete the entire seminary curriculum through distance learning. Nearly all RBS courses are offered through an audio-video format. The student may work these courses into his own schedule under the oversight of the seminary dean and his own pastors. These courses are available to purchase.

Live instruction

A number of the courses are taught live, on site. These are offered in a condensed, one-week modular format in the winter and summer at various locations in the United States. Furthermore, some courses may be offered in the traditional semester-length format at each of the site locations (Grand Rapids, MI, and Easley, SC).
