Distance Learning & Live Modular Instruction
Pursuing a theological education while holding a job and caring for a family can be challenging. In order to accommodate students who are managing various responsibilities, RBS courses are offered in a distance-learning format. Most courses include audio (or video) lectures that may be accessed and downloaded from RBS Virtual Campus or ordered in CD format from the seminary’s online store. The student will also find the course syllabus, required textbooks, assignments, grading scales, and other course information on Virtual Campus or the seminary’s website. The student may work these courses into his own schedule under the oversight of the seminary dean and his own pastor(s).
Courses are also offered in a concentrated live modular format at different times during the year and at various locations in the United States. The modules usually last five to seven days and provide the student with opportunities to interact with the course instructor and fellow students. The lectures are recorded, edited, and uploaded to Virtual Campus.
