ET 501, ET 502 Elementary Greek I, II
An introduction to the morphology, vocabulary, and grammar of New Testament Greek. Includes some translation of NT passages (3 credits each).
ET 511-2, ET 511-3 Old Testament Introduction
Covers the background, content, and overview of the Old Testament Scriptures. Emphases include the relevance of the OT to the Christian and the OT’s revelation of Christ and the gospel (2 or 3 credits).
ET 512-2, ET 512-3 New Testament Introduction
Covers important issues related to the four Gospels with a special focus upon NT Textual Criticism
(2 or 3 credits)
ET 601, ET 602 Hebrew Grammar I, II
An introduction to the phonology, morphology, vocabulary, grammar, and syntax of Biblical Hebrew. Includes translation and analyses of selected passages in the Hebrew Bible (3 credits each).
ET 611 Intermediate Greek
A study of Greek syntax, including translation, sentence diagramming and exegesis of NT passages
(3 credits).
ET 621-2, ET 621-3 Hermeneutics
An introduction to the principles of biblical interpretation, including a survey of the history of interpretation. Special attention is given to the NT writers’ use of OT passages, as well as to common hermeneutical fallacies (2 or 3 credits).
ET 701 Old Testament Theology
Surveys the progress of redemptive history from creation to the exile. Special emphasis is given the concept of the covenant and typology (4 credits).
ET 801 New Testament Theology
Surveys the culmination of redemptive history as unfolded in the canon of the NT. Special emphasis is given to Jesus’ identity and public ministry, the features of the New Covenant, the significance of Pentecost, and the identity of the church (2 credits).

ET 711 Intermediate Hebrew
A study of Hebrew syntax, including translation and exegesis of OT passages (3 credits).
ET 821 Isaiah
An exegetical and expositional study of the Book of Isaiah (2 credits).
ET 921 Acts
An exegetical and expositional study of the Book of Acts (2 credits).
