Credit Transfer

Credits may be granted for work done at other institutions after evaluation by the seminary. The applicant must provide the seminary with an official transcript from the former institution. He may also need to provide the seminary with the academic catalog, course descriptions, and class syllabi for those courses that he wishes to transfer. Ordinarily, students may transfer all but the last 24 credit hours into the Divinity program or all but the last 14 credit hours into the Marrow program. That is, students must take at least 24 credits with RBS to earn a degree in the Divinity program or 14 credits with RBS to earn a degree or diploma in the Marrow program. Students wishing to transfer credits from RBS to other schools are responsible to ascertain the acceptance of credit by the receiving institution.
